We use 2 types of spray foam insulation, which are open cell and closed cell. Open cell is more common for domestic applications, whereas closed cell is the foam of choice for commercial, agricultural, and industrial applications.
OPEN CELL SPRAY FOAM
Open cell spray foam leaves the cells ‘open’, which allows water and moisture to escape while still maintaining an airtight seal. Open cell spray foam is used in a variety of domestic applications including attic insulation, floor insulation, wall insulation, and more.
CLOSED CELL SPRAY FOAM
Closed cell spray foam is much denser, and allows no air or water to pass through. We advice our customers to use this type of foam for commercial warehouses, agricultural and industrial application where temperature control is important.
