When spray foam insulation is used to insulate floors, it largely reduces noise pollution. This is because it is flexible and filled with millions of air bubbles that help absorb the vibrations of the floor. It is far better than fibreglass, rock wool, and polystyrene boards. It also prevents the heat escaping to the upper floors, which greatly reduces energy costs.
